Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

Title: Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
Pages: 416
Summary: Celaena is Adarlan's Assassin. At the age of eighteen, she has struck fear into a lot of people and has killed more than her fair share of people.  This story opens with the reader meeting her as she is serving out her life sentence. Her reprieve comes in the form of the Crown Prince who is in need of a champion for his father, the king.  With her reputation, he feels she will be a perfect candidate and of course she agrees because she's been given a deal she can't refuse.  Celaena is now at the the glass palace training for the competition and being caught up in court intrigue.  She finds herself falling in love with the Crown Prince as well as making friends with a princess and a dead fae queen.  Becoming the King's Champion, stopping murders, and following her heart makes this a really great read and has me wanting to complete this series.
