They are in love, they are planning the end of the Bane, and they are enjoying their lives. All that changes when their friend, Wintervale washes up at a friend's house. He has performed the greatest magic ever causing Titus to doubt Fairfax's role in destroying the Bane. This puts a hiccup in their romantic relationship as Titus figures out his next move. At the same time the reader is at Eton, we are always in the Sahara Desert trying to figure out how Titus and Fairfax got there and how they lost their memories. The whole book is action packed but deals with choosing your own path and what you really will sacrfice for love. The second book in this series is great and leaves the reader on an amazing cliffhanger.

Title: The Lost Girl ( A Fear Street Novel) by R.L. Stine Pages: 272 Summary: There is a new mysterious girl in town and fans of R.L.Stine know what that means. Lizzy has just appeared at Shadyside High and has taken an instant liking to Michael which angers his girlfriend Pepper. While incorporating Lizzy into their lives crazy things begin to happen that change Michael and Pepper's lives forever. Fans of the series know that whatever secrets Lizzy is hiding they aren't going to be good and that they will result in the deaths of people close to Michael. Review: I read these books for the nostalgia factor. They aren't scary or as good as they used to be but I enjoy reading them anyways.

Title: Naughtier than Nice by Eric Jerome Dickey Pages: 368 Summary: The McBroom sisters are back! Three sisters who have an interesting time in love, familial relationships and the temptations that threaten to ruin what they have. Eldest sister Frankie, has discovered something shocking about her fiance that leads to her having a stalker. Middle sister, Livvy is coming to terms with her marriage as well as what she likes behind closed doors. Baby sister, Tommie is getting fed up her man's baby mama and strays with Beale Streets a promising new author as she decides what to do next. Each sister has secrets that keep from each other until they are unable to do so anymore. This is a great read! It's scandalous, fun, entertaining, and a page turner that keeps you guessing until the end!

Title: Becoming Nicole: The Transformation of an American Family by Amy Ellis Nutt Pages: 304 Summary: This is the story of Nicole, a transgender female, and her family's fight for her to be her authentic self as well as have that self respected at school, in public places, and in their town. It also shows the struggles happening within the family as her father comes to term with losing a son and gaining a daughter and him taking on the warrior role for his daughter. At the end of the story, it is about a family fighting for their family member and accidentally influencing change within their home state as well as the world. An inspirational and educational story of what it means to have the strength to fight to become yourself and the wonder of having family and friends to support, love, and encourage you on that journey.

The second book in the series -- better than the first one.  Both constitute a pleasure read. by Amy

While I waited for the second book in the Midnight series to become available, I grabbed this as a re-read.  I enjoy Charlaine Harris' books. by Amy

I found this an enjoyable reading, primarily because it has characters from several of her other series.  It was kind of fun to see them all together.  Not sure how sustainable it will be as the series continues. by Amy
